Dh400 fine, 4 black points for hidden number plates in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Police has reminded motorists, especially those using car carriers and emergency trucks, to ensure that their number plates are clearly visible at all times.

This action is in line with the ongoing efforts of the police to increase road safety and ensure easy identification of all vehicles in traffic.

If a driver does not comply with these regulations and his license plate is hidden or unclear, he will face a fine of 400 dirhams and four negative points on his driving record.

These penalties are enforced under the Federal Traffic Act, which aims to maintain safety and order on the roads.

Drivers are advised to follow these rules to avoid fines and help create safer driving conditions in the emirate.
