Dutch footballer Quincy Promes has been arrested in Dubai for cocaine trafficking and stabbing his cousin in the knee.
Since his conviction for drug trafficking and violence in the Netherlands, Promes, 32, has been on the wanted list. According to reports, he was spotted partying at a Dubai nightclub in recent months.
In response to the arrest, Promes' attorneys Sophie Hoff and Robert Malevich note that Promes has appealed his conviction for drug trafficking.
