Lewis Hamilton's last appearance in Abu Dhabi
Racers be ready! The 2024 Etihad Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix is only four months away and it is set to be historic. This year, the race will be the last appearance of the legendary Lewis Hamilton with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team.
Yas Marina Circuit will host Hamilton's final dance with Team Silver today after his thrilling victory at Silverstone. After a three-year drought, he was given the big stage for his final before joining Ferrari in 2025. Hamilton's departure from Mercedes, which has propelled the partnership to six championships, makes the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix a must-see event.
In addition to the race, Yasalem's post-race concerts are back, with headliners Eminem, Maroon 5 and Moz. Ticket holders will also have free access to Yas Island's top attractions.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix attracts fans from all over the world, with 65% of last year's 170,000 participants being international. This season has been unpredictable and the wins have been split between different teams which adds to the excitement.
Tickets are selling fast. While three-day tickets are sold out for the main, west and north platforms, great attractions such as Abu Dhabi Hill and Horizon 360 are still available. VIP options include Luna Lounge and Nine Deck.
The weekend will also include Formula 2, Formula 4 and Formula 1 Academy support races. It is a festival of motor sports in all its forms.
