UAE shoppers rush to pick up tech deals on smartphones, PCs as discounts and AI score

Sales of smartphones and PCs in the United Arab Emirates have soared this summer thanks to big discounts of up to 50 percent and anticipation for new AI-powered devices.

Retailers are aggressively destocking to prepare for the launch of AI products later in the year. The "back-to-school" season has also boosted demand, making it easy for consumers to upgrade their tech with promotions, trade-ins and flexible payment options.
