Because in this city, only licensed places are allowed to serve alcoholic beverages in their bars, lounges and clubs. In the city of Dubai, night clubs are regulated and supervised by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism. They are responsible for issuing nightclub licenses to foreign investors who seek to set up nightclub businesses that include social, cultural and entertainment activities within the emirate.

These regulations are strictly enforced to maintain service quality standards in social clubs and to monitor and regulate business activities.

Residents of Dubai and travelers and tourists from east and west always have a strong presence in clubs. Thursday and Friday nights are the busiest nights in Dubai clubs, as Thursday is the last working day of the week and Friday to Saturday is closed for most businesses. The United Arab Emirates has strict rules regarding clubs, which all participants must adhere to. Therefore, before entering the club, you must be aware of all the cultural and legal considerations specific to this country. The best time to be in clubs is between 10 pm and 3 am. But certain places have a special license for certain nights and are open until 4 am.

Entrance fee:

Until a decade ago, most of the nightclubs in Dubai had free entry, but in recent years, since the nightclubs also feature world-class DJs and musicians, entry fees have been added to these clubs. In Dubai, the cost of entering nightclubs depends on various factors such as location, time and popularity of the club. The entry fee for nightclubs in Dubai starts from 50 dirhams and goes up to 1000 dirhams depending on its popularity. This fee sometimes includes a free drink. However, some clubs do not charge any fees during off-season.

The legal drinking age in Dubai:

Since Dubai is an Islamic city, it has strict rules and regulations for alcohol consumption. Dubai authorities allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages only in some licensed nightclubs in Dubai. For example, clubs in the cities of Sharjah and Abu Dhabi do not allow alcohol consumption, but non-Muslims can drink freely in Dubai. If a person is over 21 years of age and has a valid liquor license issued by the Dubai government, they can consume alcohol in licensed clubs. Nightclubs have separate drinking areas where you can have your drink and you are not allowed to take your drink outside the designated area. If someone is drinking alcohol, you must confirm that you will take a taxi home or have someone with them to drive them home. It is absolutely forbidden to drive while drunk in the UAE, and if you are caught, you will be sentenced to prison.

Smoking :

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor public places in Dubai, including cafes, restaurants, clubs, etc. The government in this city enforces this ban to promote a clean and healthy environment for all its citizens. However, some clubs have designated smoking areas or spaces on their terraces where you can smoke. Before going to a club, be sure to find out about the smoking rules in that place so that you don't break the rules.

ID :

To enter the night clubs of Dubai, you must have an ID card with you. In order to verify the identity and determine the age of the guest, it is necessary to present an ID card. If you are from the UAE and live there, you must bring your Emirates ID or valid driver's license to enter Dubai clubs. If you are a tourist, you must show your passport to enter the clubs.

Type of clothing:

The clothes you wear to attend a night club in Dubai must also follow the specific rules of that club. Many nightclubs require guests to dress smartly and formally. Therefore, be sure to consider the atmosphere and theme of the club in advance. If the club has a casual atmosphere, you can wear jeans and a t-shirt and be comfortable. But if it is a fancy club, you should wear formal clothes. In addition, you should wear comfortable shoes for dancing and comfortable feet inside the club. Most nightclubs in Dubai do not allow men wearing jeans, flip flops, shorts or other informal clothing. Women, on the other hand, can wear almost anything they want, depending on where in town they are clubbing.

Age limit :

In Dubai, the legal drinking age is 21 and most clubs have a minimum age limit of 21. Therefore, you must show your identification documents to the club staff and verify your legal age to enter these places. However, there are some nightclubs that have a minimum age limit of 25 or 30 years. These clubs serve customers and guests with a higher age group.
